                   Help Function: Status

This allows you to set an modify your user settings.  Your PASSWORD,
GRAPHICS, COLOR, FULL-SCREEN EDIT, LINES PER PAGE, MESSAGE TERMINATOR,
EXPERT LEVEL, your default ZIP-READ Settings.

PASSWORD - This is the SECRET code-word that you will enter to gain access
to the system each time you call.  It would be a good idea to change it
periodically and to use a different password on EACH system that you call.

GRAPHICS - If you choose this function, the files displayed to you may or
may not contain "graphics" characters (characters that are not in the
standard ASCII character set).

COLOR - This will allow you to view the system in full color.  In order to
use this feature, you must be using an IBM/PC compatible computer that
supports color either through the ANSI.SYS driver or the emulation
program.  If you select this option, you can also set your own selection
of colors in the Select Custom Colors selection.

LINES PER PAGE - This will determine how many lines of text are displayed
before an automatic pause occurs and the "More:" prompt appears.

MESSAGE TERMINATOR - Different systems have different ways of terminating
messages.  Some use a blank line while others use EX or some other operator.
With this BBS, you can set it to whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Expert Mode - Allows you to bypass the regular printing of menus in the
system.

ZIP-READ SETTINGS - This BBS allows you to have the ability to read ALL of
the new messages on ALL of the sub board since you last read them.  This
is handy if you have a limited logon time and are monitoring several sub
boards.  Your configuration will consist of just turning on or off the
message areas that you want to have included in your Zip Read.
